BSC has a long history with this area and the outfitter for pronghorn and mule deer. Mark Buehrer, his grandson Hunter, and his nephew Nick, all enjoyed the high numbers of pronghorn and the nice accommodations. Hunts are conducted from ground blinds over water, and they have the option to spot and stalk during the day. Hunting area 22, west of Buffalo that has awarded pronghorn permits without preference points under the general tag. They also offer pronghorn/mule deer combo hunts early September. Deer occasionally are taken over water, but more effectively by spot and stalk. Mule deer will require special tag fees for hunters without preference points. Nice lodging located minutes from hunting area. Bow friendly outfitter with plenty of game. Fly into Gillette and rent a car for the 1.5-hour drive to camp.
