HISTORY
Bowhunting Safari Consultants was founded in 1986 by Neil Summers, who created a booking agency that organizes bowhunting excursions worldwide. The company puts clients together with the appropriate guide/outfitter and arranges the details for their hunting adventures. In 1996, Neil brought Mark Buehrer on board to consult in North America. Mark developed the North America portion of the business, while Neil focused on the International outfitters and clients.
In 2005, Mark and Neil welcomed Jay Osting to the consulting team. Mark and Jay worked together developing more options for our North America traveling hunters. Mark retired in May 2022 and Jay has continued to lead and develop the North America options for our clients. Jay's wife, Cindy coordinates the application services for our clients. In January 2024, Neil retired and Adam Cramer joined the team to consult all our international traveling hunters.
Together, Jay and Adam will carry out the mission of BSC by continuing to place our clients and outfitters together to accomplish bowhunting goals.

Operator references and/or the experiences of an individual friend are not enough to ensure that your hard-earned time off and money are spent wisely. We are able to track the performance of outfitters and guides over a period of time with many different clients. BSC represents only outfitters and guides who offer superior hunting experiences at good value and with whom we can confidently place our clients. The outfitters we have chosen to represent pay for our services. You, the client, pay no additional fee for our services: you pay only the outfitters published retail hunt price.

We want all of our clients who book through us to understand that buying a bowhunt is NOT buying an animal and the weather and other environmental factors at the time of your hunt may seriously affect the outcome.
