DR8 Wyoming Mule Deer
Many clients inquire about trophy western archery mule deer hunts and rarely do they consider Wyoming. This outfitter started guiding BSC clients early 2000's for trophy elk and recently on quality mule deer and antelope. In 2025, Jim Hubler hunted early September harvesting a great mule deer and nice pronghorn. These are primarily blind based hunts with some spot-n-stalk options. The outfitter is geared toward bowhunters and clients can book individual species hunt or a combo hunt in September. You can expect bucks in the mid 160’s to lower 180's and pronghorn in the 70's with some 80"+ in the group. Regardless, if your hunting lower Alberta or Eastern plains of Colorado, mature mule deer are difficult to hunt with archery equipment. We feel this area offers good numbers of quality bucks in bow-friendly terrain. Currently you can draw the deer permit without points, and the antelope permit you will need to purchase the special license without points. Fly into Casper then drive to Douglas where you'll meet the outfitter.
Rates: 4-day 1x1 mule deer $10,100; 5-day combination hunt $14,000; add licenses and tag fees
