This unique option has you hunting mountain lions in favorable weather from horseback or ATV. Outfitter will ride horses into canyons, following a pack of hounds on the trail. Besides having a strong heritage in bowhunting, the outfitters family has been hunting lions in this fashion since the 1960’s. Their dogs work in snow but mostly they are dry ground hunts, and the horses are used throughout the year on the ranch and are good mountain stock. This is a high success hunt with the option to add-on a Coues deer after you take your lion. Hunts are available year-round, and licenses are over the counter.
