We have been booking woodland caribou and moose hunts with this outfitter since the 1990’s. Mark, Neil, Jack Frost, Larry Jones, Tom Miranda and many other BSC clients also have hunted here. When considering caribou hunting conditions across North America, we believe the Woodland caribou hunting in Newfoundland is one of the most consistent hunts to consider. Woodland caribou numbers are steady in most areas due to mild winters and better calf survival. Generally, you will not see a great number of woodland caribou, but you are hunting small groups that may have one or two good stags in the group. Hunt begins when you are picked up in Deer Lake. You’ll stay in a comfortable 8,000 square foot lodge. This is also a great hunt to do in conjunction with Canadian moose. We have had many clients take both species in a 6-day archery hunt. Prices include GST and tags. Only 6 caribou permits available. Booking for 2026.
