BSC clients have been consistently taking mature caribou with this outfitter, as well as some of the biggest moose we have ever had clients take in Newfoundland. In the past, Joel Maxfield, Camp Newton, Phil Smith, and many others all have taken record book stags qualifying for Boon & Crocket. They ONLY get 3 tags each year. You will fly into Deer Lake, where you will mettle outfitter then drive south to the helicopter pad. These camps are all remote, with no road access. Most stags are in rut early October, but our outfitter, being an avid bowhunter, strongly believes if you want to kill an absolute monster caribou, consider booking this hunt in early September.
