CAR5 Northwest Territories Mountain Caribou
Located in the northern portion of the Mackenzie Mountains in the NWT is a family run operation that has excellent Mountain Caribou and Dall sheep. We have many references available, including Anna Vorisek, Frank Kusler, Curt Wells and Tom Edginton, who would be happy to discuss their caribou experience. The logistics of this hunt will have you flown from Norman Wells to base camp via float plane, and then you’ll be flown to various hunting camps via super cub. Horseback hunts can be arranged. They have cabins and tent camps depending on where they are finding the bulls. There are no helicopters on this hunt, all fixed wing aircraft. Hunts are 10 full days of hunting. This outfitter runs all his caribou hunts as 2x1. Air strips throughout the concession allow easy access for early season hunts. Later September hunts you can add moose on trophy fee. Booked through 2028.
Rates: 10-day, 2x1 $30,000; Moose trophy fee $20,000; add tax, charter fee, tag, and government trophy fee
