This outfitter is located southwest of Fairbanks in caribou unit #20A along the Alaskan Range. This unit is lottery drawing only; you can apply up to 6 times at $10 each. Bowhunting Safari Consultants will help assist with your application. Over the past 2 decades, we have been working closely with this outfitter on spring grizzly hunts and his fall moose and Dall sheep hunts. They are very familiar with archery hunters of all skill levels. The caribou in this part of Alaska are plentiful. Your hunting adventure will start from Fairbanks then bush flight to the north side of the Alaskan Range, followed by a quad or Argo ride to camp. This is not physical terrain, but a hunter should be good shape to effectively cover the area. Hunts are conducted from mid-August into September. Application deadline is normally December with results posted in February. Plan your Alaska caribou adventure in advance, there are limited openings.
