This BOWHUNTING ONLY outfitter is located near Fairbanks North Star. We started our long-term relationship with him in 2000 when Mark, MR James and Larry Jones hunted moose at his camp. BSC has been successful with several grizzly clients over the years. He offers spot and stalk grizzly in the spring, and then a unique hunt where you are hunting from a 6’ x 12’ enclosed platform built on the edge of a salmon stream in the fall. Stand hunts require mentally tough hunters with patience. Exciting hunts! Shot distance on the fall hunt is 18-27 yards. His spring and fall hunts presented 100% shot opportunity in the past with two Boone & Crocket bears taken in 2020. State regulation requires a bowhunting guide always be with you. Primarily an elevated blind hunt with some ladder stands positioned for changing wind directions. Ozonics machines are provided by the outfitter and are used on these stand hunts to reduce scent. They also offer 1 or 2 hunters on a fall baited black bear hunt with grizzly on trophy fee. If you are looking for a grizzly hunt from elevated blind or prefer spot-n-stalk hunt in the spring, you’ll be pleased with this hard-working outfitter. Spring hunts are mid-May into June. Fall hunt is in August. Outfitter only guides 2 in the spring and 3 in the fall. Plan 18 months in advance.


Rates: 10-day spring hunt $16,000 plus $5,000 trophy fee; 5-day fall hunt, $16,000 plus $5,000 trophy fee; $500 for 2nd black bear; (trophy fees applied on wounded bear) bush flight included hunt cost; add license and tag fees
