This hunt is conducted in the famous Peace River Country of northwest Alberta, near Lesser Slave Lake. The outfitter has over 30 years of bowhunting experience. He runs three to four active baits for each hunter and continues to establish new baits in un- hunted areas each year. Clients have reported seeing multiple bears per evening. Spring bear hunting is a GREAT hunt for relatively new bowhunters wanting to expand their horizons, offering 100% shot opportunity and nearly 100% success year after year. Witt Stephens enjoyed this spring hunt with his 13-year-old son. Brad Martin and his son Cole connected on two large bears. This location offers a very high density of bears and good percent of color phase. If you are looking for a BIG color phase bear, this is a good camp to consider as outfitter has many trail cameras in place to position the hunter for colored bear.
