This outfitter is a diehard bowhunter based out of Soldotna on the Kenai Peninsula. He also guides for brown bear on Kodiak (Unit 8-drawing required) and the northern part of the Alaska Peninsula (Unit 9). The spring or fall hunts are equally successful, near 100% shot opportunity with 70% success. Outfitter will focus on 9’ bear with the occasional 10’ in the area. Hunts on Kodiak are based from a wilderness cabin and the Peninsula hunt will be tent camp. Hunters are flown into camp by Super Cub. Booking for 2024.
