This hunt takes place on Afognak Island, which is the northern most island within Kodiak Archipelago. Drawing a tag is required for spring and fall, with roughly 40% odds. This outfitter only takes 1 or 2 hunters per 10-day hunt. Neil took his brown bear here many years ago and since then BSC has been sending clients to this location with nearly 100% success. A great area for 9’ to 10’ bears. The hunt is conducted from heated cabin cruisers, glassing shorelines, and hiking inland. Hunters must be in good shape. Five-star accommodations and reported as one of the most relaxing, lodge-based hunts within Kodiak Islands. Also offer summer retreats and fishing charters. Rate guaranteed for 2 consecutive years.
