These private ranch hunts are located in south central Colorado in Unit 85 near La Veta. This was previously OTC area so anticipating 0-1pt will draw the permit. NO landowner tags. Majority of hunting is bugling/spot and stalk. Other days you may hang around wallows and other water sources with soft cow calls. Targeting 300” or larger bulls and some fortunate hunters have harvested bulls exceeding 360". Terrain is relatively mild on a physical scale – very bow friendly. You will stay in a nice ranch house that includes meals and lodging. Roughly 4-5 hunters per week on multiple ranches. These are all 1x1 guided hunts. If you can't get around as well, I would favor the early hunts from tree stands or ground blinds.
