ELK9 Montana American Elk
For the hunters looking for a less physical elk hunt or simply like hunting from tree stands or blinds – this is a hunt you need to consider. Year after year we received positive reports on this hunt. In years past our hunters averaged 50-80% shot opportunity. This outfitter has been guiding in Montana for over 20 years for elk, deer, and pronghorn. The hunt is conducted on a private 5,000-acre ranch near Judith Gap. Tree stands and ground blinds are positioned on travel routes and fence crossings from bedding to feeding areas. The ranch holds bulls in the 270”– 300”class but occasionally has 340” herd bull. The outfitter will have 3-5 hunters per week starting early September. Camp is comfortable bunk house, showers, etc. and excellent food. This is a general draw area for archery. You’ll fly to Billings and rent a car for the two-hour drive north to camp.
Rates: 6-day 2x1 $5,900; add combination license, conservation and archery tag
