We have been working with this outfitter for nearly a decade guiding giant black bear in far Northern Alberta. To target BIG Canadian moose, this outfitter has helicopter access and a strip for his fixed wing aircraft, which will land you 20-30 miles south of the Northwest Territories border. This wilderness area had no commercial or resident hunting pressure. The closest road is 40 miles deep through heavy timber. Outfitter has arranged helicopter flights that bring hunters within walking distance of camp. Hunting is done with freighter canoes and shallow drive mud engines. Camp consists of two wall tents, cots, portable shower, generators, and good home cooked food. These are 7-day hunts in peak rut, September 15-23.
