The Mackenzie Mountains have some of the highest Dall sheep densities in the country. This bow-friendly terrain has become the most desired location for archery hunters looking for a white ram. We work with a couple different outfitters in this range with limited openings for archery hunters. On this hunt, you’ll fly to Norman Wells and charter into main camp and then flown into your sheep camp. They offer backpack hunts with helicopter, or some also have horseback hunts from different cabins. Great area for a caribou on trophy fee. Limited openings, plan 2yrs in advance.
