DR15 South Dakota Whitetail
Located an hour east of Rapid City, this family operation guided by father and son have bowhunted for decades. Their area encompasses close to 100,000 acres, which they own/lease for pronghorn, and deer. There hasn’t been a rifle shot on this ranch other than for coyotes for years. Mark and his grandson, Gage, took nice bucks on a mid-November whitetail hunt. They also conduct a spot and stalk mule deer hunt (2 hunters per week) starting in September. In late October they turn to stand & blind hunts focusing on whitetails, but an occasional mule deer is taken on the stand hunts as well. Deer quality is excellent with Mule deer in the 150”–180” class but they have taken a few larger. Whitetails are numerous. Targeting Pope and Young bucks traveling to and from AG fields from small timbered creek bottoms and draws. Maximum 4 hunters a week. Full accommodations with meals. Airport pickup in Rapid City. These are west river archery tags purchased on-line. Booking for 2026
