Pronghorns are the speedsters of the west, and certainly a species BSC recommends early on to the bowhunter who wants to expand his horizons from the customary whitetail hunts in the east. Hunts are affordable, normally action packed, and they make a beautiful mount. Pronghorns are found in many western states, as well as Alberta. They provide bowhunters with an excellent opportunity to take a P & Y class animal, and the minimum score is 67. While pronghorns can be hunted in numerous locations, BSC has narrowed down their list of recommendations to a few outfitters in Wyoming, Montana, and Alberta. For some extra dollars, a combination hunts with mule deer can be arranged in some areas.
