Located on the southwest coast of the African continent, Namibia is one of
the driest countries on earth. Formerly know as South-West Africa, under South
African control, Namibia received its independence in
1990. Today Namibia is developing into an important sport hunting
country with both good game populations and diversity. It is quickly gaining
popularity with bowhunters. Namibia is also home to
some fantastic tourist destinations such as the Etosha National Park, the
Caprivi Game Reserve and the famous Skeleton Coast.
