Bowhunting Bezoar Ibex
|
|
Bezoar Ibex- is also sometimes referred to as the Turkish
or Persian Ibex. The fact of
the matter is that it is not a true Ibex at all. Although it has the
sweeping scimitar shaped horns similar to an Ibex it lacks the knobs along
the top surface. Bezoar ibex are in fact one of several wild goat species
found throughout the world. The bowhunting for Bezoar in Turkey is somewhat
physical but there are good stalking conditions and shot opportunities are
reasonable. Rut is during month of December, which is when they are lower on
the mountain for mating.
