A
lifelong outdoorsman, Don has bowhunted extensively in his home states of
Montana and Alaska and throughout the American West as well as in Africa,
Russia, the South Pacific and South America. He has taken over three-dozen
species of big game with his longbow.He currently serves as Co-Editor of TRADITIONAL BOWHUNTER magazine and writes a regular column for BOWHUNTER magazine. He also writes regularly about bowhunting, fly-fishing, wing-shooting, adventure travel, hunting dogs and wildlife for numerous publications including Gray’s Sporting Journal, Alaska, Ducks Unlimited, Pheasants Forever, Retriever Journal, and others. Don is the author of 17 books on these subjects.
