Axis Deer- Native of Asia, these deer are found in abundance in South Pacific, South America.  Relatively small bodied (100-120 lbs.) these deer grow antlers with only 3 points to a side, but can reach to 35” + in height.  Great short hunt (1-3 days) while in Hawaii. The wife can work on her tan while you bust your buns on the mountain.  The Axis Deer is famous for its “bark” when startled.  A great second specie when hunting in New Zealand, Australia, or Argentina.
