Bowhunting in Mozambique
Bowhunting has been legal in this country for many years. Originally colonized by the Portuguese, there were never any restriction placed on primitive weapons. It has been many years since the civil war ended and now the country is doing very well. New Professional hunters have been able to direct safaris in this country safely. There is a serious lack of infrastructure in some areas as well as well as some significant poaching problems. One must be careful in choosing an operator in this country.
We have been working with an operator there who has the logistics worked out and and has an excellent (proven) area where he operates. This may be the best "fair chase" cape buffalo bowhunting available in Africa today.
