Bowhunting Chamois in Europe

Although a different sub species than the Chamois hunted in New Zealand, this indigenous goat is every bit as difficult to bowhunt. Be physically prepared to bowhunt these Chamois as they like to be on the highest peaks of the Pyrenees Mountains of Southern France and Northern Spain. Here again, S. France is the most reasonable place to bowhunt them. Here they exist in large numbers and with good planning you should be able to get within bow range once per day. The Chamois is not large, approx. 90-110 lbs. Absolutely gorgeous scenery while on this bowhunt.
